Susan Burns and Dean Merritt will be attending the June 3rd, 2009 HB Litigation Conference: Judicial Forum on Asbestos. Several judges from around the country will be discussing filing trends, rulings, findings, and their needs from the Plaintiff and Defense Bar, etc. File & Serve is used in almost all asbestos litigation nationally as a way for parties to reduce costs, manage the volume of paper being exchanged, track delivery, manage service lists and stay abreast of key events and documents in the litigation. Judges are finding File & Serve to be an invaluable tool to maintain contact and control over the process as well. Even when e-filing is not implemented with a court, asbestos parties can use File & Serve to exchange documents (service) with each other and the judges via an online case-room.
