Congratulations to the West Virginia Supreme Court Mass Litigation Panel for celebrating its one year anniversary with LexisNexis File & Serve. The Court implemented electronic filing in its Mass Tort Asbestos litigation, and has since expanded to include e-filing in Mass Tort Flood litigations and Mass Tort Tobacco litigation. For more information on these cases, or to learn how you can place a case on File & Serve, contact one of the File & Serve team members: Susan Barnes (susan.barnes@lexisnexis.com); Rosemary Willcox (rosemary.willcox@lexisnexis.com) or Angela Melton (angela.melton@lexisnexis.com).

There have been over 260,000 pages filed and accepted by the court!
...and here’s an interesting statistic to contemplate - If we were to take the number of pages electronically served and multiply it by the number of service recipients, the result would represent over 10 million pieces of paper.
Now that's going green!
